Policy Architecture

Strategic Pillars

Our work is focused on five critical areas of global governance, designed to create impact and drive sustainable change.

01

Governance & Public Policy

This pillar focuses on strengthening public institutions, governance frameworks, and policy processes that underpin effective decision-making and accountability. Our work supports governments and policy actors in designing, implementing, and reforming public policy systems that promote institutional integrity, regulatory coherence, and long-term public-interest outcomes.

02

Peace, Security & Human Rights

This pillar examines the governance dimensions of peace, security, and human rights, with particular attention to institutional capacity, political stability, and state–society relations. We analyze how governance failures, conflict dynamics, and human rights risks intersect with policy choices and institutional performance in fragile and transitional contexts.

03

Resource Governance, Energy & Sustainability

This pillar focuses on governance frameworks, institutional decision-making, and political and regulatory risk in resource-dependent and resource-rich contexts. Our work examines how public institutions, private actors, and multilateral stakeholders navigate extractive industries, energy systems, and sustainability transitions to support stable, transparent, and long-term development outcomes.

04

AI & Digital Governance

This pillar addresses the governance of emerging technologies, with a focus on institutional readiness, regulatory frameworks, and public-sector oversight of digital and AI systems. We support policy development and governance strategies that promote responsible innovation, ethical deployment, and institutional resilience in rapidly evolving technological environments.

05

Gender & Inclusive Leadership

This pillar advances inclusive governance and leadership by examining how institutional structures, policy frameworks, and decision-making processes affect participation and representation. Our work supports governance systems that integrate gender and inclusion considerations into leadership, public policy, and institutional reform efforts.

Public Interest & Accountability

Further institutional documents, including annual reports and board information, will be made available as the institute progresses into its next phase of operations.
